Efter universitetsstudier, (1981-1986), följdes dessa av av flera års konststudier bla Valands Konsthögskola, Hovedskous Målarskola mfl. Kombinationen av universitetsstudier i antropologi , filosofi, idéhistoria och konst, butoh (mörkrets dans) och långpraktiserande/studier av zen, utgör grunden för Krister Kennedys (KK) konstnärskap. KK arbetar multidisciplinärt med teckning, skulptur/objekt, fotografi, installationer och video/rörlig bild men också med ljudkonst och måleri. Utställningar i Sverige och internationellt, på museer, konsthallar och gallerier. Representerad vid konstmuseer, kommuner och statliga och privata samlingar. Medverkat i bla Ord & Bild (nr3 2020), Glänta nr 1-2 1995. Konstlärare vid Domen konstskola, Göteborgs konstskola, Sörängens folkhögskola mfl.
